Rob Weidner is from Barrington, Illinois a northwest suburb of Chicago.  He got started in the film industry back in high school where he received 3 Crystal Pillar awards from the National Academy of Television, Arts, and Sciences.  His documentary Rise Above The Storm was also featured on the opening night of the 2009 South Dakota Film Festival.  The summer of 2011, Rob worked for Innovative in Indianapolis on projects for the Super Bowl, Roche Diagnostics, and Royal Caribbean Cruises.  Recently, Rob spent the fall of 2012 in Cape Town, South Africa camera operating for Big Sky Productions and Heart Media.
